The first thing we see with this box is that big 67W charger. Yes, Xiaomi 12 Dual Sim includes it in the package, which these days with flagships seems to be such a big thing. Once you open up the box, you will be greeted by a little insert with a SIM Ejector pin, regular literature, and a soft case. This is very much appreciated given that the back here is Glass. And depending on the color you go for it will be a Black, Green, Blue, or Pink smartphone in the box. The Green version, by the way, is not glass but vegan leather. Anyway, this phone has got a USB type C cable with an orange accent.

A quick tour around the Xiaomi 12 Dual Sim device will show the power and volume keys and the SIM tray. There’s no IP certification here and there is also no support for micro SD. The USB port you see over here is just USB Type-C 2.0 so transfer speeds are gonna be relatively low. And there is no headphone jack. On the flip side, there are stereo speakers. And as far as wireless charging goes, both of them are the same 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless. The battery capacity is different in that this one has 4500 mAh compared to Li-Po 4600 mAh.

The next difference is with these displays. Here you get 6.28 inches compared to 6.73 on the Pro. And this is a Full HD Plus compared to Quad HD Plus. But both are AMOLED panels with 120Hz refresh rates. But the next difference is that the Pro gets an LTPO panel which means it can switch between 60 and 120 Hz. Perhaps other differences worth mentioning are 419 PPI density compared to 521 PPI density and 50MP 13MP 5MP camera compared to 50MP 50MP 50MP camera on the Pro version.

First off, let us start by saying we absolutely adore the camera on the Xiaomi 12 Dual Sim. Its great design choice makes it look really pleasant. Now the three sensors you see here are totally different from the three sensors you’ll find on the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Does that mean these cameras are bad? Well, the primary shooter is a 50 MP, f/1.9, 26mm (wide), 1/1.56″, 1.0µm, PDAF, OIS lens. Its images are decent the results of which are comparable to Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G’s. The secondary shooter is a 13 MP, f/2.4, 12mm, 123˚ (ultrawide), 1/3.06″, 1.12µm lens and the third a 5 MP, 50mm (telephoto macro), AF lens.

There is up to 8K@24fps (HDR10) video recording with the main camera. Other qualities include 4K@30fps (HDR10 ), 1080p@30/120/240/960fps, 720p@1920fps, gyro-EIS. So actually how are the selfies of this Xiaomi 12 Dual Sim. They are crisp, sharp, and well-detailed. We think Xiaomi has done a good job with edge detection on the portraits. These are made possible by Xiaomi 12’s 32 MP, 26mm (wide), 0.7µm front-facing lens.

This houses its 30MP selfie camera.
