Body and Design
The Samsung Galaxy Galaxy A30s is made out of Glass front, plastic body, well-constructed device. Yet at the same time it also has a thin profile and feels elegant, with slight curves for a better feeling in the hand.
It does not feel as brittle as a glass phone, the back does not get all dirty with under display, optical fingerprint smudges and you can even risk using it without a case without fearing that the slightest drop would shatter the back of the phone and incur costly repairs.
Visually it looks spot on, with modern iconography and elements well chosen to work together, it looks beautiful.
The handset measures 158.5 x 74.7 x 7.8mm
It has under display optical fingerprint scanner
The Galaxy A30s comes with Triple cameras of 25MP, 8MP and 5MP on its back and that might be one of its most impressive features. The cameras work together to create Portrait shots, or as Samsung calls it, Auto Focus.
You get a 25-megapixel f/1.7 main shooter and a 8-megapixel f/2.2 Ultrawide, and 5 MP, f/2.2 depth sensor. While up front there is a single 16-megapixel f/2.0, camera.
The phone sports Exynos 7904 (14 nm) with Octa-core 2×1.8 GHz of clock speed.
The Exynos manages all tasks and even games, but it runs with a noticeable stutter and makes your open apps and games faster for smoother experience.
It has 3/4 GB of RAM and 32/64 /128GB of internal storage. It also has a dedicated expandable storage slot that allows up to 1 TB.
It packs a non-removable 4000 mAh Li-Po battery. The battery provides a talk time of up to 22 hours on a 4G network.
Charging it once daily is enough for the A30s to handle all the regular activities of the day.
A30s comes with the full range of connectivity options with GSM, HSPA and 4G LTE. It also has Assisted GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE. Amd has a Type –C charger.
The A30s sports the Android 9.0 Pie, which is the latest major release of Android.
