Body and Design

The Samsung Galaxy Galaxy A20s is made out of Glass front, plastic body, well-constructed device. Yet at the same time it also has a thin profile and feels elegant, with slight curves for a better feeling in the hand.

It does not feel as brittle as a glass phone, the back does not get all dirty with fingerprint smudges and you can even risk using it without a case without fearing that the slightest drop would shatter the back of the phone and incur costly repairs.

Visually it looks spot on, with modern iconography and elements well chosen to work together, it looks beautiful.

You get a 13-megapixel f/1.8 main shooter and a 8-megapixel f/2.2 Ultrawide, and 5 MP, f/2.2 depth sensor. While up front there is a single 8-megapixel f/2.0, camera.

The phone sports Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 (14 nm) with Octa-core 1.8 GHz of clock speed.

The PowerVR manages all tasks and even games, but it runs with a noticeable stutter and makes you wait an extra second for apps and games to load and for things to move.

Memory

It has 3/4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of internal storage. It also has a dedicated expandable storage slot that allows up to 1 TB.

Battery

It packs a non-removable 4000 mAh Li-Po battery. The battery provides a talk time of up to 21 hours on a 4G network.

Charging it once daily is enough for the A20s to handle all the regular activities of the day.

Connectivity

A20s comes with the full range of connectivity options with GSM, HSPA and 4G LTE. It also has Assisted GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE.

• A more powerful chipset would have been appreciated

• The fingerprint sensor is sluggish.

Conclusion

The Samsung Galaxy A10s is a device is for anyone who wants to have an A50, A40 but doesn’t have that kind of money. At around half the price of the flagship, you get quite a lot of features that offer a similar experience with the flagship.
